Anyone close to me knows my secret lust for the awesome zombie head cookie jar shown above. It’s awesome, but it’s just one of those things that I’ve been drooling over for the year that has past since we featured it at zombiegift.com. I just haven’t be able to get around to buying it. It’s not that it’s all that expensive at just under $30. However, as a single dad there’s always something else that comes along to keep me from splurging on myself. I’m definitely one step closer to buying this cookie jar thanks to this awesome idea for matching zombie head cookies I stumbled across.
Melissa over at Simply Sweets by Honeybee came up with an amazing idea to make zombie head cookies to match the cookie jar. Using a skull cookie cutter, some easy paper templates, and a lot of creativity she created some cookies that are pretty much a dead ringer for the zombie head cookie jar. She was even cool enough to post a video tutorial on how to do it all! Check them out in the photos below:

None of this was my idea so be sure to check out the full blog post over at Simply Sweets by Honeybee!

Of course I want-I want all of the zombie gifts, but single mom & a crazy cat girl I don’t have alot of extra $ unless i want to be homeless with a bunch of zombie stuff in a shopping cart pulllng my cat carriers behind me! I find the cookies amazing since I cannot cook/bake anything, I explode things in the microwave and the oven is my arch nemesis. Very cool post, a great gift idea too!
That was a great idea on the cookie decoration, tho i have yet to watch how it is done, good for halloween or the night the new season of the walking dead comes on 🙂
bonus points for zombie slaying: zombie heads full of cookies!
This would be perfect for my annual Halloween party!
How cute!!!
Cool idea!
YUM! BRAINS! LOL!
