You know zombies are a big part of popular culture when Archie comics gets the zombie treatment. Starting in the fall of 2013 Archie Comics is running an ongoing series titled Afterlife With Archie.
Afterlife With Archie is being written by Glee writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and will alongside the normal Archie series.
The first story arc is reportedly called Escape from Riverdale. and the second arc is called,Betty RIP.
You’re probably dying to know how on earth zombies overrun Riverdale. I know I was. According to Nerdist.com, it all starts with a dog bite. Reggie runs over his beloved pet pup Hotdog. Of course Jughead has a hand in mixing any cocktail that tastes like trouble. Jughead convinces the local teenage witch Sabrina to cast a spell and bring Hotdog back from beyond the dead. Hotdog comes back as a zombie and bites Jughead and we have our patient zero.
