If your are a dedicated visitor to the site you’ve probably noticed a slightly new at ZombieGift.com and here on our blog. Earlier this week we did some spring cleaning and site updates. The most noticeable changes are probably the slightly different look. We changed the color scheme slightly and added a background with some blood smeared at the left side.
We also changed the menu here and at ZombieGift.com to make browsing zombie gift categories easier. It should now be even easier to find that great zombie gift you are looking for! While we’re done with changes for the time being we aren’t sure we like this look permanently. We’ll likely be changing our look and our logo at some point in the future.
We also went to a gorgeous full width image slider on the main page of the site and this blog. Recently added zombie gifts and recent posts are featured on this slider. We also fixed the annoying glitch where the images in the old slider would stack up vertically for a second or two on site load.
Most of the changes we made to the sites were boring changes to the backend that you’ll never see. We made all kinds of changes behind the scenes that made the site faster and much smoother.
We hope you like the new user experience and look for more improvements in the future.
