There’s no reason to live in the past however. (That film has gone on to gain a cult-like following on the internet anyway!) Glenn made the best out of The Worst Movie EVER!  The exposure from the film’s lackluster opening probably gained him exposure and opportunities he wouldn’t have enjoyed had the film’s opening simply been bad instead of terrible. Glenn and his production company, Driving With Our Eyes Shut,  have followed up with their latest low budget masterpiece:  Midget Zombie Takeover.

When some college students get together for a hot tub party, they’re shocked to find out that their party is being crashed by some tiny, uninvited guests who are hungry for flesh – human flesh.

Midget Zombie Takeover reportedly had a paltry $2,000 budget. A micro-budget and a quirky indie filmmaker already known for The Worst Movie EVER! just might be the recipe for comedic zombie gold. Looks like a winner to me.  Before all you huffy film snobs out there get all worked up, we’re pretty sure the movie and trailer are supposed to be bad.  Duh! I could be wrong, but I’m fairly confident this is one of those zombie films that doesn’t take itself too seriously. You’re supposed to bask in the micro-budget goodness that only passionate and funny indie films with a shoestring budget can bring us. So lighten up, relax and enjoy it for what it is. Besides, we already know this isn’t the worst movie ever!

There are no fears of this even being The second worst film ever.  According to Box Office Mojo, Midget Zombie Takeover made over $2,700 in its opening weekend.  According to the official Midget Zombie Takeover facebook page the film word continues to spread about the film.  It has been booked for screenings in many cities across the U.S. and has even landed multiple screenings in theaters in cities such as San Antonio, Texas; Tempe, Arizona and more!

So is this the worst ZOMBIE film ever? That remains to be seen. One thing is certain, I’d absolutely love the opportunity to see this film and review it. I pray it comes to a theater near me! Remember a bad zombie movie is still better than half the crap in theaters on most weekends anyway!
