The Walking Dead Comic Series 2 Action Figure Set

Hi zombie fans!  As some of you know, The Walking Dead Comic Action Figures Series 2 set photos have been released. This series brings us The Governor, Glenn in prison riot gear, One of Michonne’s Pet Zombies and The Governor’s Pet Zombie Daughter: Penny!

These are currently set for a Summer 2013 release. The current anticipated release date is expected to be July, 2013.

The Glenn figure features Glenn with the prison riot gear and a slew of cool accessories incluing: 2 pistols, riot shield, baton, gas can, and  a removable helmet with a flip-up visor!

The Governor figure features a pistol, a kitchen knife, and even an alternate mutilated head and right arm!

My favorite two figures have to be Penny and Michonne’s Pet Zombie. Michonne’s pet zombie features include a neck collar and chain, tear off arms and jaw, and push in / pull out intestines!

Last, but certainly not least, is Penny.  The governor’s pet zombie daughter in action figure form is creepy enough. What makes this figure worthy of the true Walking Dead fan’s hard earned cash however are the accessories.  This one blows me away and is probably my favorite Walking Dead action figure to date! Penny comes with Penny comes with a feed bucket of fresh body parts (severed leg, severed foot, severed hand, intestines, heart, and even Rick’s severed hand!).  Her figure also comes with a fish tank holding trophy heads collected by The Governor. One of the heads can even be used as an alternate head for Michonne’s Pet Zombie Mike, allowing you to build Michonne’s 2nd pet and Mike’s best friend, Terry! So sick! We love it!

These Walking Dead action figures will be individually priced in the $15 range.  As I stated above, these amazing new figures should be available sometime in July, 2013. However you can pre-order your set right now from our friends over at Entertainment Earth and save some money in the process!

As a HUGE fan of all things zombie and The Walking Dead, and someone who shops for zombie merchandise for a living, I can tell you finding these in stores locally is likely going to be a lost cause.  Especially Penny and Michonne’s Pet!  Ordering online is going to be the way to go and pre-ordering these is a GREAT idea. If you pre-order the set not only do you save money, but you pretty much guarantee you’ll actually get them.

At the time of this post, you can pre-order the entire set over at Entertainment Earth for just $54.99. That’s only about $13.75 per figure!
