Can you believe we’ve already seen 4 seasons of AMC’s The Walking Dead come and go? That just sounds so crazy to me. It seems like just last Halloween I was watching the debut episode. Here we are nearly four years later and the series is stronger than ever.In fact, according to E! Entertainment Television, the Walking Dead Season 4 Finale had a mind blowing 15.7 million viewers. There’s no doubt The Walking Dead is more popular than ever and it has seemingly invaded every part of popular culture and daily life.

If you need proof of this just count how many times a week you encounter Walking Dead jokes, memes and parodies. Since we are highly active via social media sites like facebook and twitter, we know this all too well. In fact we see the same jokes and memes coming up over and over and over again. That’s why we thought it might be fun to put together a top 10 list. So without further ado here’s our list of the top 10 overused Walking Dead Jokes and memes from seasons one through four. Enjoy!

• 10.   Shane’s the Father/Rick’s the Father/Maury Povich References.

We could tell you that we aren’t tired of seeing these…but “That is a lie. More than 15 times!”

• 9.    Don’t Cough Near Carol Jokes.

I know, she burns sick people for the betterment of the group. You don’t need to remind me every time I get the sniffles.

• 8.    Pudding Jokes.

Carl ate a crapload of pudding. We can stop talking about it now.

• 7.    Crazy Cheese Jokes.

 Michonne let her lighter side show with a can of crazy cheese. She’s trapped in a tin can right now waiting to be eaten.  Let’s talk about that.

• 6.    Lori is a Terrible Mother/Person Jokes.

So she never knew where her kid was during a zombie apocalypse. So she slept with her husband’s best friend while said hubby was in a coma. Do those things make her a terrible person? Actually…..yes. Yes they do. Lori was a crappy mother and far from an ideal wife, but there’s no need to keep beating this dead horse. Horrible pun intended.

• 5.    “Stay in the House Carl” Jokes.

By now it is obvious you don’t make Carl do anything he doesn’t want to do. Nobody puts baby in a corner and I wouldn’t try. He’s got a little of his Daddy in him!

• 4.    “Don’t Look at the Flowers” Jokes.

We’re still guilty of overusing this one, but this late entrant to the list is still just as annoying as the others.

• 3.    Andrea Jokes.  

There are so many of these we chose to leave this as a broad category. She was a sl#t, a b*tch, a poor shot, and/or annoying. We know. She’s dead. Let’s move on.

• 2.     Any Daryl Dixon Joke or Meme Featuring the words “Redneck”, “Squirrel”, “Ovaries” or “Southern”

And finally. . . our pick for the number one most overused Walking Dead joke or meme. . .

• 1.     “Don’t Dead. Open Inside”

You all know damn well what it says. It’s not that funny nearly 4 years later.

So there you have it. Four years of overused Walking Dead jokes and memes condensed into one poorly written blog post. I know we sound harsh in the post but trust me it’s all in good fun.  If you still use some, or all, of these don’t worry. We’re guilty too! We’re not calling anyone out. This is just a post for fun. Relax.
