The post Zombie Giveaway Results appeared first on ZombieGift.com Zombie Blog.

It seems hard to believe ZombieGift.com started over three years ago.  Since then, thanks to our fans and a lot of hard work, we’ve grown into the web’s premiere zombie gift directory.  As most of you know we’re much more than that.  WWe like to think of ourselves as a community.  We’re a family of zombie and horror fanatics and that’s just how we like it.  With that in mind we like to give back. We’re known for our frequent zombie giveaways but we still wanted to do something very special for our fans, friends and followers.  Thus, the concept of #OctoberOutbreak was born in 2013.

October is a special month for zombie and horror fans. October brings the return of a new season of The Walking Dead and of course, Halloween. While it’s typically our busiest month, it also seems like the perfect month for giving back to all of you. That’s why we’re back for the 2nd annual #OctoberOutbreak giveaway celebration.

This is a fantastic opportunity to help us #GrowTheHorde. The bigger our community is the more zombie love we’ll be able to spread. We’d like to thank you for a great three years and here’s to many more!

We recently reviewed the Zombie Bar a zombie chocolate bar from Sugar Plum Chocolates.   As part of that review we received extra zombie chocolate bars to share with our loyal zombie fans and followers. We’ve been having a blast giving them away to all of you on facebook and twitter. Watching all of you get whipped into an undead freebie frenzy over free zombie candy is great preparation for Z-day.  All good things come to an end and it is with much sadness we report we’re down to the final 9 bars of our zombie chocolate bars. As much as we’d like to hole up in our safehouse and ration these out to ourselves, that would be selfish and it’s not our style. Instead we’ll selfishly hold them over your heads for some free marketing and shameless promotion.

In all seriousness these are our last 3 zombie chocolate bar prize packs and here’s how we’ll be giving them away.  First the good news, no giveaway entry forms this time! You all deserve a break from rafflecopter and entry forms so we won’t be using one this time around. Now for the bad news, you’ll actually have to do a little work to gain an entry. Relax! You do more work rolling out of bed in the morning.

We’re giving one prize pack away via facebook, one via twitter, and one will be given away to a lucky ZombieGift.com email newsletter subscriber. Enough introduction, let’s spoon feed you hungry zombies the entry instructions:

1. Facebook:  Like and share this post:

Please also like our facebook page and the Sugar Plum Chocolates facebook page

2. Twitter:   Make sure you’re following us (@ZombieGifts) and then RT this tweet:

3. Newsletter:   If you’re an active zombiegift.com newsletter subscriber you’re automatically entered. We’ll simply choose a random newsletter subscriber after Saturday 1/25/2014. If you aren’t subscribed go to http://www.zombiegift.com/newsletter and sign up. Make sure you confirm your subscription by responding to any confirmation/opt-in email we send after sign up and make sure you use an email address you actually check because that’s how we’ll notify you if you win!

Rules:  Enter until 11:59pm EST on Saturday 1/25/2014.  These giveaways are not sponsored by or approved by facebook or twitter in any way. By entering you agree to hold zombiegift.com and Sugar Plum Chocolates harmless and deem them not liable for any real or imagined damages you may incur or allegedly incur associated with this giveaway whether those damages be direct or indirect. Yes you can enter and win more than one of the giveaways. I’m not going to bury you with rules. Go nuts and enter multiple times. Create 60 fake  facebook accounts. Hire a tweet-bot to bombard fake followers with massive amounts of Retweets. Knock yourselves out! Just kidding! Don’t do any of that stuff!

October is already awesome. The Walking Dead returns with new episodes, postseason baseball is in full swing, The Walking Dead comic continues to celebrate 10 years and issue #115 and it all peaks with all of the fun activities surrounding  Halloween. As if October wasn’t great enough already, we decided to cram even more awesome into the tenth month of the year with a ton of epic zombie giveaways! Why? Because we kick @$$ and we want everyone to know it!

We’ve had it! We’re one of…if not THE best zombie site on the internet. ZombieGift.com has grown leaps and bounds in the past two years and we don’t plan on going anywhere. Thousands have fallen victim to the infectious zombie awesomeness that is ZombieGift.com and we won’t stop until the ZombieGift.com outbreak reaches pandemic proportions.

To help continue growing the horde, and to reward all of you who are already shambling along with us, we’ve decided to put together a group of zombie giveaways the likes of which you’ve never seen! We’re calling it “October Outbreak” and if it’s successful enough for us and enjoyable enough for all of you, it might just become an annual tradition here.

Entering works just like it always has…only there will more simultaneous zombie giveaways than ever before! The only real difference is we’ll also be choosing random winners from our newsletter subscriber list. Lucky winners will be plucked from this list at random to receive great zombie giveaway prizes separately from the zombie giveaways open to everyone.

This weekend we passed the 9,000 Likes mark on our facebook page. Our goal is to hit 10,000 likes by the end of October so we can launch our “Zombie Killer” Machete 10k giveaway! Help us reach our goal and everybody wins!

Let’s get things started with #OctoberOutbreak giveaway number one!

#OctoberOutbreak

UPDATE: AND THE WINNERS ARE. . .

Wow. Choosing winners that played by the rules and didn’t cheat was much more difficult than I thought it was going to be on this one. Regardless of the difficulty we managed to sift through thousands of entries and dozens of randomly chosen winners until we were able to find entrants that played by the rules AND responded to our notification emails. So here’s the list of lucky #OctoberOutbreak winners:

 Zombie Giveaway #1: Raymond M.

Zombie Giveaway #2: Jeff D.

Zombie Giveaway #3: Ryan M.

Zombie Giveaway #4: Rob H.

Zombie Giveaway #5: Alfred G.

I know what you’re thinking and NO we didn’t intentionally make it an all male sweep. It just worked out that way. There were plenty of women that came up as randomly chosen winners, but unfortunately they were also entries that couldn’t be validated, didn’t respond etc. As we went down the list it just so happened all the winners were guys.

Thanks so much to everyone that entered. If you didn’t win, stay positive because I’m sure we’ll be doing this again next year.  There will be plenty of zombie giveaways between now and then so keep those entries coming and keep the faith!

It’s giveaway time again! This time up for grabs is a size XL zombie t-shirt that reads, “Zombies Want Brains: You’re Safe”.  We only have one of these so sorry no size requests. If XL is too big don’t complain to me after you win or I WILL haunt your dreams.  Seriously. If this isn’t your size just don’t enter.  At least be smart about it. Use it as a pillow case or a sleep shirt. Wash it in hot water. Use it as a bath mat. Win it and sell it on ebay. Gift it to your neighbor. I don’t care. Just don’t complain about the free stuff!

The lucky winner of this shirt will be able to declare their love for zombies AND insult their friends, family members and the general public all at the same time.   As stated it’s an XL shirt.  It’s black. I think it’s 100% cotton. It doesn’t smell like cat urine. Honest.*

How to enter:

We’re doing the standard easy to use entry widget again. Everyone should be familiar with it by now!  If the entry form doesn’t appear, try refreshing the page, asking it nicely or screaming profanities at it.  If none of those work try putting down the smart phone and using a real computer. The entry form sometimes decides not to play nice with mobile technology.  It works fine for me when testing…but I’m probably more awesome than most entrants so maybe that’s why ;).

The entry period starts now and ends at 12:00 am on Saturday 5/18/2013.

Due to recent requests this giveaway is open worldwide so all you international zombie fans have at it!  Please see the entry form for complete rules and details.  Good luck!

Enter Here!:

*OK, it smells like cat urine. . .a  lot.**

**Just kidding. Seriously people, relax. We’re joking. Enter with confidence.  The shirt doesn’t smell. It’s brand new with tags and everything.

The post Win a FREE Zombies Want Brains, You’re Safe Zombie T-Shirt (Size XL)! appeared first on ZombieGift.com Zombie Blog.

The folks over at Arsenic & Honey clothing company were cool enough to sponsor a giveaway with a free t-shirt for one lucky winner.  After 1,060 entries (and a few unresponsive initial winners) Jamie J. walked away a winner. Jamie was cool enough to post pics bragging on facebook which we truly appreciate! Great giveaway etiquette Jamie! Here’s her photo:

The “Stuff” and “Things” Giveaway:

This one was too much fun. In honor of our love for Rick Grimes short stint in crazy town on AMC’s TheWalking Dead we held a “Stuff” and “Things” giveaway. We didn’t tell you what the prizes were. Just that we were giving away zombie “stuff” and of course zombie “things”. We were hoping most of you got it and didn’t think we were crazy. Most of you share the same sense of humor and ran with it without committing us or locking us in a room with mattresses for walls.

The Stuff and Things giveaway saw a whopping 7,762 entries. After a few randomly drawn entrants failed to respond to the notification email, lucky winner Tracy L. walked away as the winner.

As promised here’s some photos and a breakdown of the great zombie prizes Traci won in this zombie giveaway:

She walked off with:

• 1 Zombie Brain Gelatin Mold
• 1 Tin of Brain Flavored Zombie Mints
• 1 Brain Dead Zombies – Grow a Zombie
• 1 Zombie paracord sunglasses lanyard from Zombie Tactical Cord (A prize from a previous giveaway that went unclaimed)
• 1 Package of Zombie Jerky
• 1 Stack of Zombie Claus Christmas Cards With Envelopes
• 1 Package of Zombie Caution Tape
• 1 Plastic “Certified Zombie Killer” Shot Glass
• 1 Package of Severed Body Parts (Human Ears) Great For Zombie Food
• 1 Packaged Brain …Also Great For Zombie Food
• 1 Coupon For 30% Off A Purchase of $10.00 or more from our etsy shop.

In summary, there’s three things to take away from this post:

1. We’re awesome.
2. People really do win and receive great zombie  prizes from us.
3. Check. Your. Email.  Check the email you’ve used to enter when the giveaway entry period is over. Nearly every giveaway ends with the first two or three winners failing to respond to the notification email within the required 72 hours. It’s aggravating to see those people miss out on their prizes!
