In case you missed it, back in April Sony announced an updated, graphically enhanced version of the wildly popular zombie-like PS3 video game, The Last of Us. Entitled, The Last of Us Remastered, this version is updated for PS4 to take advantage of the next generation console’s abilities. This remastered version allows you to play in glorious full 1080p HD resolution. It also features higher resolution character models, improved lighting and shadow effects and other gameplay improvements. The game also features all DLC packs and in game cinematic commentary from the creative director and cast.
Sony recently released the Last of Us Remastered trailer at E3. As if the extras and the ability to play this game in full 1080p wasn’t cool enough, the trailer has a rendition of “Something in the Way” by Nirvana playing. I’m sold 😉 If something gets me to change my ways and head over to the PS4 side of console gaming, it would be The Last of Us.
The Last of Us Remastered will be available July 29th, 2014.
