Any zombie fan would love to see the classic 1968, Night of the Living Dead brought to life on stage. Well start shambling toward Toronto because that is exactly what’s going to be happening this spring at the Theatre Passe Muraille!<\/p>\n

It’s been over 44 years since George A. Romero’s classic zombie film, Night of the Living Dead<\/em>, was released. This cinematic masterpiece has gained hordes of fans and a cult following in the decades since it first hit the screen.<\/p>\n

Thanks to Nictophobia Films<\/a>, Night of the Living Dead<\/em> fans can now experience this classic film live! \u00a0Have no fear because\u00a0\u00a0the production is in good hands. \u00a0The Director is \u00a0Christopher Bond: co-creator and co-director of the very successful Evil Dead The Musical!\u00a0While this isn’t the first time a\u00a0NOTLD<\/em>\u00a0play has been done, I’m pretty confident it has never been done quite like this.<\/p>\n

The entire live production will be presented in black and white. Even down to the actors! \u00a0According to the official Night of the Living Dead Live website, the play will be an interactive experience:<\/p>\n

The performance will be audience interactive as live zombies walk through the aisles, making their way to the stage keeping spectators on the edge of their seats. \u00a0Measures have been taken to maintain a PG rating so that a younger audience can also experience this fun and amazing production.<\/p>\n

NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD LIVE<\/em> will captivate audiences as they experience this classic told in the intimate setting of a live theater. This will bring the viewer closer to the story than ever before, as they are literally sitting in the house with the characters as they fight and kill their way through the marauding ghouls. At the end of the show everyone in the room will know what it feels like to experience a night with the living dead!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
