Every year our friends at ThinkGeek add some cool gag gifts to their site for April Fools Day. These are gifts that are purely for laughs and can’t actually be purchased. The demand for some of these gifts however is so great that they decide to actually produce them and make them available for purchase. These ridiculously cool chocolate zombie bunnies are the perfect example.
These poor little bunnies were once adorable. After being infected with the bunny variant of the deadly T-Virus they turned into deadly flesh craving zombies. Luckily for us the virus also transformed them into delicious white chocolate! Each chocolate zombie bunny is about 8 ounces of delicious white chocolate dyed green for that authentic zombie look. They also have red eyes and a some dripping blood from their mouth due to their most recent meal. Their exposed ribs let you know they aren’t afraid of a little flesh wound and they are prepared to fight to the death for their next taste of human.
We don’t need to tell you these make the ideal Easter gift for that zombie loving friend or relative of yours. We do need to tell you these are available for a limited time and in extremely limited quantities. These are typically available only around Easter and when they’re gone they are gone! Don’t sleep on it if you intend to purchase these because you WILL be waiting until next year to see if they are available again! (We speak from experience on this one!)
These are priced at $14.99. While that’s not expensive, it is a little pricey for your typical chocolate bunny. However, you need to remember these aren’t your typical chocolate bunny! We first posted about this product in the spring of 2012! At the time, this product was a ThinkGeek exclusive. It was one of their very cool April Fool’s day prank products that ended up becoming a real purchasable item. They original retailed for $14.99 and were actually clearance priced down to just $1.99 at some point. This product has been discontinued and this exact product is no longer available.
