ZombieGift.com occasionally earns monetary compensation through the use of affiliate links, sponsored posts, and other means.
What are affiliate links?
Many of the links on this site are hyperlinks commonly referred to as “affiliate links.” Clicking or visiting these links, or engaging in certain activities after visiting them, might result in us earning compensation. This can be earnings, or other rewards or incentives. Some examples of actions that could result in us receiving some sort of compensation include:
- Making a purchase
- Signing up for a free trial or trial
- Subscribing to an email list or newsletter
- Subscribing to a service, subscription service etc.
- Submitting your contact information for a quote or to obtain more information about a product or service
- Making a phone call or texting to inquire about a service or product
- and more
Why?
Our site is an informational zombie gift and collectibles directory. We don’t stock or sell the vast majority of the items listed on our site. Instead we spend an immense amount of time and effort cataloging awesome zombie products. We help shoppers find items that may no longer be available new. Affiliate earnings and other sources of revenue allow the site to continue to exist. (See “What do we do with affiliate earnings?” below.)
The best part about affiliate links is they don’t cost the consumer any more. You simply click the link and make a purchase as you normally would at the price you normally would! The merchant or retailer simply rewards us some sort of small compensation for referring the customer.
What do we do with affiliate earnings?
Simply put: we use them to keep the lights on and the site up. Please realize the earnings from affiliate links are typically quite small on a normal purchase. These earnings generally go right back into the business. They are our main source of income to allow us to cover our operating overhead. They help us pay for expenses such as webhosting, utilities, advertising and more. Affiliate earnings also allow us to purchase review products and prizes for our giveaways.
Are All Links On Your Site Affiliate Links?
Of course not! Not all links on our site are affiliate links. Due to the nature of our site, many are. When in doubt it is best to assume any link to an external product or service on our site is an affiliate link.
I Don’t Want To Use Your Affiliate Links. Do I Have To?
Of course not. In all honesty, there is little to, no reason not to use our links. You pay the same either way and we greatly appreciate your support! That said, the choice is yours. If you don’t wish to click our links you can manually search or find the source of a product yourself. Alternatively, you may contact us to request a non-affiliate link. We’ll do our best to help.
