1.   Who provides Photos? What About Videos?
In order to provide the look and feel you’re after YOU provide photos for your product. We’ll resize them and edit them to best suit your listing. If you prefer you can also send us a product and we’ll photograph it for you and handle the entire process.  If you have a product video hosted on YouTube or other video sites we’ll be happy to use it if possible.

 

2.   Who hosts the photos? 
You’ll email or upload photos to us. We resize them, edit and host them on our website. Any videos must be hosted on a third party site such as YouTube.

 

3.   Who processes the payments of my customers?
You sell your product and run things the same way you’ve been doing it all along. We simply create a listing to get your zombie product tons of exposure in front of tens of thousands of zombie customers each month. We send them to wherever you’re selling your product to complete their purchase, whether that be your website, etsy, ebay or any site in between!

 

4.    Do you charge a commission per sale?
No! We simply charge a flat monthly fee for publishing and maintaining your listing on our site.

 

5.  Why should I list my product on your site?
We are the premiere site on the web for zombie gifts and collectibles we hold first page ranking in Google, Yahoo and Bing search results for many key search terms such as “Zombie Gifts” and many others. The bottom line is when people search for zombie gifts they end up at our site!

We also promote products on many social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and more. With frequent zombie giveaways and other engaging content we keep our fans and followers coming back for more zombie fun each month. Our giveaways and marketing are often viral in nature. You never know when your product will be the next big thing!

 

6.  What’s the cost?
Pricing is based on the retail price of your item, with discounts and other benefits for purchasing a 3, 6 or 12 month listing. Current pricing is outlined below.

 

Single payment pricing for products with a sale price up to $100.00:

  • 1 month listing: $9.95
  • 3 months: $24.99
  • 6 months: $49.95
  • 12 months: $99.50

(Purchase a 6 or 12 month listing duration and your product will be listed in all applicable categories on our website and not just the “handmade zombie gifts” portion of our site. Six and 12 month listings also get extra attention and exposure on our social media sites!)

  • 1 month listing: $19.95
  • 3 months: $50.00
  • 6 months: $99.75
  • 12 months: $199.50

  • For handmade zombie gifts priced from $0 to $100.00 the fee is $9.95/month
  • For handmade zombie gifts priced from $100.01 to $500.00 the fee is $19.95/month

 

7.   Where exactlywill my zombie product appear on your site?
Your product will appear in our handmade zombie gift directory page located at:
http://www.zombiegift.com/category/handmade-zombie-gifts/

We’ll also promote your item via our twitter, facebook and pinterest accounts!

If you purchase a 6 or 12 month listing your product will also appear on any other relevant category searches and pages on our site. For example if you happen to sell a knitted/crocheted zombie hat it will be featured on our handmade zombie gifts page. Purchase a 6 or 12 month listing duration and it will also appear in the zombie clothing, zombie hats and related categories on our main site increasing your exposure greatly!

 

8. Can my listing be edited or changed?
Of course! We’ll support a reasonable amount of changes or modifications to your listing as long as you are an active paying client. We’re happy to change the description, add new photos, or update links to your product at your request. Of course we can’t be making 15 changes a day, but anything within reason is fine. Whenever you need to change your listing just email us at advertising@zombiegift.com with your request and we’ll make the changes within 1-2 business days.

 

9. What happens to my product listing if I stop paying?
It will be inactivated or removed at our discretion. Since we’re a zombie gift directory we’ll likely leave your listing and product photos up for archival and informational purposes. That also makes it easier for you to reactivate your listing in the future.  Any links that previously sent traffic to a site of your choosing for purchase will be inactivated. Simply make a payment to reactivate your listing and continue right where you left off.

 

10. How many products can I list? Do you offer discounts for multiple product listings?
That’s pretty much up to you! While we do reserve the right to limit the number of listings available to a single customer we currently don’t have any set limits.

 

11. Can I write my own listing content?
We’re happy to write your listing for you using the information you provide. Give us the details, point us to your site for even more information and we’ll take it from there. If you feel you can do a better job writing up your listing, be our guest. Keep in mind we do have to approve the content before we publish it and we reserve the right to request you change or modify something in the listing before we publish it.
Under no circumstances do we accept canned or cut and paste text used on another website. Your content needs to be 100% unique.

 

12. I don’t have a ton of money. Are there other options? Do you barter?
Not too often, but we’re open to any legal and ethical suggestions you might have. We LOVE zombies as much as those who shop and browse on our site so we’re not opposed to accepting a handmade zombie product in exchange for a set listing duration or other arrangements. Our rates are so ridiculously reasonable it’s not often required. You’ll likely make your advertising investment back in your first sale or two!

 

13. Are than any handmade zombie items you won’t accept?
The sky is the limit, with a few exceptions. Anything illegal, sexually explicit, or offensive obviously isn’t OK with us and we reserve the right to refuse listing these items. We have advertising partners and other associates that we are accountable to. Some blood and gore is OK, but otherwise think family and all ages friendly!

 

14.  Do you track sales or listing performance?

To keep our costs low we currently don’t offer any performance tracking. You can easily implement easy low tech tracking solutions on your own however such as creating unique coupon codes for customers to use or even creating a custom listing or landing page for your item.

 

15.  Will I have the opportunity to preview my listing before it goes live?
Yes! We’ll email you with a link to your private listing for your approval prior to publishing your listing.  If you just want your listing up as fast as possible, you also have the option of waiving your right of first approval and we’ll publish as soon as we get your listing completed. (You can still request changes to your listing at any time).

 

16.  How long does it take to get my listing completed and published? How long does it take for changes to be made?
Your listing and/or requested listing changes should be live within 1-3 business days. Of course that can vary based on how long it takes you to approve your listing along with a variety of other factors that may be out of our control.

18. What if my question isn’t answered here?

19. Is my advertising payment secure?
We process your payment via Paypal’s secure payment processing servers and gateway. We never even see your financial information. Paypal’s encrypted and secure site processes your payment and simply informs us the payment has been made.

 

20. How do I get started?
Email us at advertising@zombiegift.com to request an invoice be emailed. Be sure to let us know what pricing and listing duration you’re requesting. We’ll reply within 2 business days with an email invoice via PayPal.

 

21.  Do you offer other types of advertising? Can I publish a banner or display ad on your homepage?
Of course! Contact us to request a copy of our media kit complete with advertising rates for our traditional advertising options.
